STITCHING STORIES: A Community Quilt Circle

High Iron Community Partner Program: Jackrabbit Workshop

Join us inside the High Iron boxcar for a special evening of hand-sewing, storytelling, and shared reflection. As a pop-up extension of the summer quilt circle at Jackrabbit Workshop, this gathering invites participants to contribute to a collaborative community quilt. Guests can choose between two projects: hand-piecing with upcycled fabrics (you are encouraged to bring your favorite fabrics or upcycled materials) or top-stitch quilting using embroidery hoops and quilt frames. Inspired by the textile works displayed at High Iron, this event honors the quiet, repetitive, and often invisible labor that shaped our region. Come stitch, reflect, and celebrate our amazing Laramie community.

High Iron is welcoming community partners to the boxcar this summer. Explore and visit High Iron with programming from the community.
